[b]Lamka/Aizawl, 22 February, ( [/b]Celebrated artistes of Mizoram entertained and enthralled the audience to make the 58th Zomi National Day a grand affair in Aizawl on Monday.

The 58th Zomi National Day celebration in Aizawl on February 20 was organized in Government of India's Archive Hall, Babutlang, Aizawl, Mizoram.

The artistes present were Mrs. Lalrindiki Khiangte (Daduhi), Joseph Zaihmingthanga, Vanlalsailoa, Michael M Sailoa, Zo Rock and Melody. Mrs. Khiangte (Daduhi), a celebrated singer who bagged various awards as Mizoram’s top singer, entertained the gathering with two country songs, in the first session of the programme. Joshep Zaihmingthanga, a celebrated love song singer who has changed his life, presented two gospel songs, between speeches from other special invitees.

The second session of the programme witnessed more entertainment with various artistes belting out songs and two traditional dress parades by young women. A veteran rocker Rosangliana, the vocalist of the old rock band Zo Rock, came all the way from Shillong, Meghalaya, to participate in the celebration. He rocked the gathering with three numbers from his old rock albums.
