Minister Tissa Vitarana in South Africa
Pretoria, 08 September, (Asiantribune.com): Sri Lanka’s Minister of Science & Technology, Prof. Tissa Vitarana was in Pretoria, South Africa from 2nd to 6th September on a five day visit, to brief the APRC process and the conflict in Sri Lanka.
During this visit, he met with several South African dignitaries in the Government, leaders of the African National Congress (ANC) and the South African Communist Party (SACP) to briefed them on the APRC process and the conflict in Sri Lanka.
He also had an exchange of views with Mr. Roy Padayachie, South African Deputy Minister of Communications and Mr. Ebrahim Ebrahim, an ANC leader and member of the National Executive Committee (NEC).
