About us

Asian Tribune is the conscience of humanity.

We are not an organization, but through Asian Tribune, we wish to organize the collective conscience of the people in the world towards achieving
Freedom from poverty, starvation and poor;
economic Freedom;
availability of economic opportunities for every human being in the world.
All these noble goals to be included in a new Charter of Human rights.

We strive for a sustained peace on earth

*a world without War, Violence and destruction - both state and terrorists orchestrated.

Kindly note that, Asia is more a geographic term than a homogeneous continent. It has the greatest range of land elevation of any continent, the longest coastline, is subject to overall world's widest diversified climatic changes.

Asia is the planet's largest continent and most diverse, covering about 30 percent of the land area on Earth - 44,579,000 sq km, against the total world's land area of 148,647,000 sq km, and includes 47 countries and assorted territories and island dependencies. Significant features of the continent include the world's tallest mountain, Mt. Everest, in Nepal, at 29,035 ft (8,850m). The continent's lowest point is in the Dead Sea, at 1,286 ft (392m) below sea level between Israel and Jordan. World's most populated countries, China - 1,274,000,000 and India - 1,011,500,000 and a total Asian current population of 3,701,000,000 against the total current world population of 6,135,000,000 which is more than 50 percent of the total world population.

Unfortunately, Asia is still divided according to the lines of religions, languages and according to so many other idiotic factors. This is the only continent which is not united and formed into either one Union or Association.

Asian Tribune not only a website for news and information but would strive for the Asian Solidarity, to make Asia a borderless one region and make it a cradle for Asia's civilization and economic prosperity.

Security-wise majority of the Asian countries are at each other's throat, which has so far prevented the growth of Asia as the leader of the world. At this present context, the whole of Asia which represent more than 50 percent of the world population should at least have three permanent members in the UN Security Council. Asian Tribune would tirelessly work towards this achievable goal.

Asian Tribune urges India with the second largest population and Japan with one of the world largest economy, be included as Permanent Members of the UN Security Council.

Asian Tribune would work in close cooperation with similar minded people - high and low to attain the cherished goal of Asian Solidarity.

Today's Asian Tribune is tomorrow's Asia.
