Police have unraveled several secrets about international connections of the LTTE by listening to the conversations Prabhakaran had with several persons in Malaysia, Singapore, India and Italy just before he was killed.
The Intelligence Unit of the Sri Lanka Army and certain private specialists in satellite communications have been called in to assist the Police who are confident of tracing the various individuals and their locations all over the world, who were very close to Prabhakaran, just before he died.
It is reliably understood that Prabhakaran had several important teleconverstions with Chief of the international network of the LTTE, Kumaran Padmanathan, better known as KP, during several days before Prabhakaran’s end came.
Using ultra modern satellite technology, Police are confident that they will be able to trace the locations of several persons who spoke with Prabhakaran during his last days.

The information obtained should be passed on to Interpol and other relevant criminal investigation units in India, Thailand, Malaysia and other coutries where they have been conducting illegal operations.
The information could assist to track down the criminal KP wanted by Interpol.
This may also reveal the names of some of the key members of the western countries who directly or indirectly fueled the crisis in Sri Lanka.

There is a well-known LTTE key member in Thailand. He should be soon located and taken into custody. For this, Sri Lankan gvoernment and the police should immediatley think of a mechanism which will work together with the Thailand police towards arresting these persons who will not be left unattended.

Who can help the Interpol to
Who can help the Interpol to catch KP who is on the most wanted list of Interpol. But then again if ones heart is not in the task it never gets done, does it. That is what has happened to the Interpol. May be the Sri Lankan army intelligence personnel need to go and apprehend him and hand him over to the Interpol officials as they clearly seem to be in need of assistance from a professional set of officers committed to their job.

Interpol is a puppet entity
Interpol is a puppet entity when it come to upholding true international law an order. What Interpol does is what US,UK,EU wants, nothing else. Had it being Bin Larden who contacted the Chinese or Russian government, Interpol would be quick in action finding where Bin Larden is.
But it was not to be with KP, who was in constant contact, almost for more than one month with very high level people in western governments, did Interpol tried to catch him?
It is very clear that Western government first offered "amnesty" (in their words, and 'indemnity to commit any crime against any country other than West' in our words!) to this KP before starting any talks with him.
There is no point in asking for help from Western countries. We should get help from Indian, Russia and Chinese intelligence agencies to track down KP. We should also build a very strong foreign intelligence network to track down LTTE activities overseas and take appropriate measures.
