[b]Colombo, 08 May (Asiantribune.com):[/b]Tiger supremo, Velupillai Prabhakaran has turned down a request for a meeting with the visiting Japanese special peace envoy Yasushi Akashi, who is on a five day visit to push the government and the Tamil Tigers towards the next round of peace talks.
A request made by the Japanese Embassy on behalf of the visiting peace envoy has been rejected by the LTTE, who cited security concerns for the refusal.
Meantime, LTTE leadership advised Akashi to meet their political commissar S.P.Tamilselvan , as he will be made available for talks with the Japanese peace envoy. "Mr Akashi wanted to meet Mr Prabhakaran because he is the one who calls shots in the LTTE. He, like most of us, know very well that the rest of the LTTE leaders are simply following Prabhakan’s orders," said one Western diplomat who requested anonymity.

Even the LTTE members have no idea if this guy still lives? It seems they show Soosaipillai as Prabakaran, he seems more colse to Him, but they are afraid of telling the truth to the world. If so, its going to be the End of all LTTE activities as well as War.

There are two important articles about why Sungoat avoided Akashi published in Hindustan times,
Another article from Daily news (SL), I read in Lankanewspapers.com which explains the Sungoats childhood which lead him to behave this way.
He is a megalomanic who thinks exactly the way that other people are treating him. Probably that is his order.
He thinks he is invinsible. I am sure some tamils have a very different view.

We also heard that Prabhakaran was washed out to the See by the Tsunami in 2004 while he was accomadated in a Bunker. There after he hasn`t appear to general Public, although the LTTE pretend he`s present. Then how could come for Peace Talks? :roll: :lol: :shock:

This is no news for me, I already knew VP won't do things like that. That's his nature, that's what brought him so far (through good, bad en cruel tactics). So I am not suprised.
But I do find it bad though. I don't agree with lots of things VP does.
There is really no need for me to post on every message that I don't agree with it.
Yes it will make me popular among most anti-Tigers / anti-Tamils / Crazy people here on the board. But I don't need to be populair. I want to get into healthy discussings where we all try to understand eachother which will eventually broaden your perspective (which I think will make you a better person)
So actually, I am here only for my own ego (I am just using you to become a better person, thanks for that! :D )

VP wants a country to whom, because he kills also tamil civilians. He needs a country for his family and to those near by him, then he can find somewhere else. I think both tamils and sinhalise want to live together.

It is still not clear what exactly he wants from his war - does he want a country to rule or does he want to head a puppet federal setup??
Its clear where MR stands... no country for VP but may negotiate some sort of federal structure.
If VP wants a country then obviously he needs to fight us to get it!
