[b] Colombo, 08 March, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam which commandeered the Dolphin van belonged to Nagoor Ahamed Jaffir of Eravur, has completed changing the paint and its appearance and it is being readied to use for special operations, source in Karadiyanaaru revealed.

On 5th March, Venthan, Head of the LTTE’s Pistol group along with his cadres waylaid the Dolphin van that came from Colombo at Kokuval junction, close to Batticalao.

Venthan and his cadres wore camouflage uniform of the Sri Lanka army and were fully armed to the hilt, when they signaled to stop the Dolphin van which came on a private hire to Batticalao with Muslim passengers from Colombo.
