London, 27 April, (Asiantribune.com): V. Anandasangaree, leader of the Tamil United Liberation Front and one of the veteran Sri Lankan Tamil leaders, told the Asian Tribune that his party will appeal to the Government to issue a commemorative postal stamp in honor of Late A. Anandasangaree told Asian Tribune that the London branch of the TULF has unanimously resolved and requested Mahinda Rajapakse, President of Sri Lanka to issue a postal stamp in the honor of Late A. Amirthalingam, who was gunned down by the LTTE. Anandasangaree said that the ‘slain leader of the TULF, who remained an undisputed leader and also my longstanding friend.’

Anadasangre got nothing to do!
He wrote a letter to JVP about accepting indian style federal setup but JVP didn't even give a damn about his letter. He lost face among the Tamils now he is in the 'stamp issuing' business !
He got a good chance in this endevour because the SL is in the process of issueing 200 ( yes 200) stamps for Budha Jeyandhi. He may get on of these 200.

Can we also ask to remind V.Anandasangre that it was us who pushed Mr.Amirthalingam towards LTTE by passing a no-confidence motion against him. It was a history-making event. Nowhere in the world a no-confidence motion brought against an OPPOSITION leader! Bravo Siril Mathiew!
Also we have to remind our sinhalese brothers that the speach by a member (Panadura MP I guess!) about Amirthalingam and why he is unable to controll the LTTE. He said that "he can't even controll Mrs.amirthalingam's sexual organ" (belive me it is shocking but true)
Then went on to say how he should be killed in Galle face.
we all should read the speaches by Siril Mathew, Nevil Fernando and all the UNP members to see how our elected members behaved.
Don't blame the LTT for killing him. We killed him first. This Anandasangre is playing politics. No he got issues with LTTE so he is with GOSL.

A great leader

No doubt he has to be honored. Yes he was a great Tamil leader. I welcome the idea of issuing a postage stamp in honor of him.
