OPEC output ceiling to be raised by 2.5 million bpd by August 1: official

OPEC decided Thursday to raise its oil output ceiling by two million barrels per day on July 1 and by 500,000 bpd on August 1, a cartel official said, reading the final decision of the organisation's extraordinary meeting here.
