The LTTE is rushing to engage in damage control with the President Chandrika Kumaratunga appearing on national TV on Sunday night vowing not to bow down to terrorism and pointing the finger directly at the LTTE for the assassination the Foreign Minister, Lakshman Kadirgamar. In retaliation to the killing, the Sri Lankan government is preparing to launch a massive diplomatic assault on the LTTE. It is recalling all the heads of missions from abroad to activate an international campaign structured to put pressure on the West to match its anti-terrorist rhetoric with positive and meaningful action.Post your comment
