Given the Tigers’ unblemished record of lies and deception I find it hard to comprehend why we still have this propensity to believe their given word. But somehow contrary to all available evidence most of us persist in thinking that the Tiger is a creature of its word; and that it does what it says and says what it does. Three churches torched in Eastern Pakistan

In yet another incident of religious intolerance, a mob of about 1500 people, torched three churches in Eastern Pakistan, spurred by reports of alleged desecration of Holy Quraan by a local Christian. No one was injured in the attacks at Sangla Hills area of Nankana district, about 80 miles from Lahore. Protestors also burnt tyres on village roads and blocked traffic for several hours.

Indian police arrest Delhi blast suspect in Kashmir

Indian police investigating the October 29 serial blasts in Delhi have had a major breakthrough. Tipped off by intelligence agencies, the police have arrested militant from Kashmir. The arrest was made on Saturday. The accused has since been brought to Delhi and paraded before the media at a press conference.
