Australian Police raid LTTE premises and take in for questioning Tamil suspects funding terrorism in Sri Lanka

In a concerted move against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) – a banned terrorist organization – the Australian Federal Police raided several homes of suspected LTTE agents in Melbourne early morning yesterday. The key suspects were taken in for questioning for funding the LTTE with Rs. 236 million between April 2003 and November 2005.Post your comments

Khasi youths, elderly men and women attired in traditional dress took to the streets of Shillong on Wednesday proclaiming the dignity and solemnity of the indigenous Khasi faith and culture on occasion of the annual Seng Kut Snem festival.

Day of marriages in Delhi; everyday 15,000 marriages; 27,000 on Nov 30

It is a day of marriages every day here in Delhi till the end of the month with an estimated 15,000 marriages being solemnized every evening. Most marriages are taking place in the farm houses
