Nepal : Too Little Too Late

By Alok Bansal

The announcement by King Gyanendra on April 21, volunteering to relinquish absolute power and promising a return to the multiparty democracy under the 1990 constitution that existed in Nepal before February 1, 2005 is a case of 'too little too late'. Even a blind man's dog can see that the LTTE exploits this twin-track tactics to consolidate its intransigent and belligerent politics.Post your comments
