Three Tamil Tiger kingpins arrested in London and Wales in a dawn raid

The Police in London and Wales have arrested three kingpins who have been engaged in Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) activities banned under the Terrorism Act. Out of the arrested three, two of them are brothers and were arrested as a result of “their fund raising and procurement of acts of terrorism,” the police said. According to the police sources the three arrested, Jegatheeswaran Muralieetharan (46) , of new Town in Wales, Vithy Tharan (39) of Powys, Wales, and Murugesu Jegatheeswaran (33) of Mitcham , Surrey, of South West London, have been under subject of police investigations for a long time.
