Eighteen militants killed in Waziristan, Malakand: ISPR

Farzana Shah - At least 18 militants were killed in clashes in the military operations in Malakand and Waziristan in Pakistan during the last 24 hours, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday. Three soldiers were also killed during clashes with militants in various areas of Swat and Dir.

S Murari - India has conveyed to Sri Lanka its displeasure over the pace of rehabilitation of Tamils displaced in the final phase of the war between Government forces and the LTTE. India's concern was conveyed to Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa's brothers Basil and Gotabaya Rajapaksas when they visited New Delhi last week.
