Renovation of damaged tanks and roads of Kilinochch and Mulaitivu commenced today

In line with the programme of renovating 2000 tanks damaged and destroyed by the recent floods, the renovating tanks in the Kilinochchi District will be launched this morning at 10.00 a.m. under the chairmanship of Minister of Economic Development Mr. Basil Rajapaksa, under the joint invitation of the Minister of Irrigation Services and Wild Life Mr. S.M.Chandrasena and the Governor of the Northern Province Mr. G.A.Chandrasena.
