IMF rejects opposition claims of Sri Lanka’s Private Sector Pension Scheme initiated by it

The International Monetary Fund had "nothing to do" with Sri Lanka’s Private Sector pension plan and the initiative was not at all part of our program. This has been stated by Mr. Brian Aitken, the Head of the IMF Mission in Sri Lanka. He has said that the IMF has nothing to do with the design or the implementation of this particular pension reform bill.
