Visiting IMF delegation commends Sri Lanka’s Economic Policies

The International Monetary Fund has said that Sri Lanka is in a process of rapid economic development and predicted that under the present conditions the country will achieve a growth rate of 7.5 percent this year. The IMF delegation visiting Sri Lanka at present for the 7th review of standby arrangement addressing a media conference in Colombo yesterday commended the economic policies of the government.
