Natural Gas has been found in Sri Lanka’s Mannar Basin

President Mahinda Rajapaksa announced that the Cairn India Ltd exploring for oil in the Mannar basin has found natural gas in the Mannar Basin, in a well, and it requires more exploration to see whether it is commercially viable.
