Indian PM in Tehran for NAM Summit

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Tehran on Tuesday to attend the 16th NAM summit on a visit that will also see him holding bilateral talks with the top Iranian leadership and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari.

Release of the publication –Journey of the Holy Tree

On the occasion of arrival of Sacred Kapilavastu Relics in Sri Lanka for an exposition, a Publication entitled “The Journey of the Holy Tree” was released jointly by the Kumari Selja, Minister of Culture, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation of India and Prof. G.L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs of Sri Lanka at a Symposium on “Relic Worship: History, Archaeology and Religion”.
