Lankans in the kingdom pleased with new envoy’s pledges

European Union Parliament can help the Efforts of Sri Lanka in Rebuilding the Country - Deputy Speaker of Sri Lanka Parliament

A Sri Lankan Parliamentary delegation was recently in Brussels to meet te EU elected Parliamentarians.

Chandima Weerakkodi and the cross-party delegation from the Sri Lanka Parliament visiting the European Parliament in Brussels at the invitation of the EU, paid a visit to the EUROJUST in the Hague.   Seen in the picture are Ms. Michele Coninsx, the President of the EUROJUST, Deputy Speaker, Head of Mission of Sri Lanka to the EU in Brussels, Ambassador  P.M. Amza, the members of the Sri Lanka  Parliamentary Delegation and the Officials of EUROJUST.
The Sri Lanka Parliamentary delegation visiting the EU Parliament paid a courtesy call on  Mr. Oldrich Viasak, MEP and Vice President of the European Parliament.
The Delegation from Sri Lanka Parliament together with the Chair of the "friends of Sri Lanka Group in the EU Parliament", Mr. Geoffrey Van Orden, MEP and the Officials of the European External Action Service (EEAS), who attended a discussion with the visiting delegation.
