Mt Lavinia by the Sea: a sandy stretch of beach for rekindling body, soul and spirit

I had a pleasant walk along the Mt Lavinia beach on the west coast of Sri Lanka in the early morning on Monday, after my arrival here last Sunday, covering the stretch of beach from the hotel where I stayed in, in Mt Lavinia to Wellawatte within an hour.
