Global multinational relocating to Sri Lanka from China

: A top Japanese conglomerate is relocating its selected foam operations to Sri Lanka from China. And thanks to the conglomerate’s new operation, Sri Lanka is now saving millions in forex volumes that are otherwise sacrificed on import of soft foam used for apparel.

Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan arrives in Sri Lanka

Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq arrived in Sri Lanka on 19th December, on a two days official visit, undertaken on the invitation of Sri Lanka’s Speaker of Parliament Chamal Rajapaksa. The invitation was conveyed by the Deputy Speaker of Sri Lankan Parliament Chandima Weerakkody, during his recent visit to Pakistan.

Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade was not subject to cavity search, as being alleged, the US Marshals Services claimed.
