A case that threats Press freedom in Myanmar

An alert was signaled toward the press circle of Myanmar or Burma on December 17 through Loikaw Township Court in Kayah State. Eleven Media reporter, Naw Khine Khine Aye Cho alias Ma Khine, was sentenced to three months in prison on charges of defamation, trespassing, and using abusive language, according to recent news reports. Loikaw Township Court has sentenced Ma Khine to three months in prison for trespassing, plus one month for defamation, and an additional month for using abusive language.
