Sri Lanka participates at the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony in El Salvador

The Inauguration Ceremony of the newly elected President of El Salvador, Salvador Sanchez Ceren took place at the International Fair & Convention Centre in San Salvador on 01st June 2014 amid a large gathering of foreign dignitaries including heads of state & government, vice presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, special envoys, diplomats etc. Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Cuba, Sarath Dissanayake who is concurrently accredited to El Salvador represented Sri Lanka on this occasion.

Pakistan awards Scholarship to 83 brilliant Sri Lankan Students including 12 promising Journalists in 2nd Phase

The Government of Pakistan through its High Commission in Sri Lanka has awarded SL Rs 2 Million worth of educational scholarships last evening to 71 students of O/L and A/L and 12 promising working journalists under the second Phase of Jinnah Scholarship Programme 2014.
