WHO launches new guidelines on management of latent TB infection

For the first time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has issued guidelines on testing, treating and managing latent TB infection (LTBI) in individuals with high risk of developing the disease. These guidelines were launched today at the Global TB Symposium just before the start of the 45th Union World Conference on Lung Health in Barcelona.

Former Al-Badr Chief Nizami To Die For War Crimes In Bangladesh

Present Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and former al-Badr chief Maulana Motiur Rahman Nizami has been sentenced to death for committing crimes against humanity including genocide, torture and rape during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.

‘Still hopeful deaths would not rise’-Rishad

Sorrow about the biggest natural disaster in Sri Lanka since the 2004 Tsunami devastation is deeply felt, and shared. “We share the deep sorrow of the families of the victims who perished in the Koslanda landslide.
