Sri Lanka Army to Return More Gold Jewellery To Northern Owners

Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake on Wednesday (26) at the Media Centre of the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development, announcing the release of another stock of gold jewelleries to 1960 more identified rightful owners in the North at a ceremony on December 4, headed by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

President Meets Leaders of Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal in Kathmandu

President Mahinda Rajapaksa held bilateral discussions with several leaders from SAARC countries during his stay in Kathmandu. These included Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Bhutan Prime Minister Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay, Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.
