Arrest warrant for Bangladesh Opposition Leader Khaleda Zia

Dhaka court in Bangladesh in South Asia has issued a warrant for the arrest of opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party leader Khaleda Zia, amid a political stand-off in the country. The court in Dhaka acted after Ms Zia failed to appear in connection with a corruption case, an action likely to increase tension fueling anti-government protests in which more than 100 people have been killed in the past month.
