Hillary Clinton to contest US presidency 2016

Democratic leader and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has formally entered the 2016 race for the White House in a bid to become the first woman US president. Mrs. Clinton, wife of former US president Bill Clinton, told the Americans she wanted to be their "champion" as everyday Americans need a champion. The overwhelming Democratic favorite, she had been expected to declare her candidacy for months.
