After Modi's Yatara To China

After his three –city (Xi'an, Beijing, Shanghai) three-day (May 14-16) visit to the land of the Great Wall, admirers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are in an over drive claiming that he has surpassed all expectations in dealing with India’s relations with the world, including the two hostile neighbours, Pakistan and China. Pakistan’s clangorous chants against India are barely heard in the world, especially where it matters most for the Pakistanis, the United States of America. 'Modi's foreign trips bringing better dividends than Manmohan Singh's', declared an analyst, probably carried away by the Wall St Journal’s assessment that Modi visit to China has boosted trade ties between the two countries.
