Criminal politics of Hindutva forces is slowly raising its ugly head in India, starting now with Karnataka state where the BJP party still enjoys large support base. U.S. Embassy Building 8 Schools in East for $3.3 Million

On Friday, August 28, the U.S. Embassy signed a Memorandum of Understanding to build 8 schools for the different communities throughout the Eastern Province, with Governor Austin Fernando and the support of the Eastern Provincial Council.

MOU Signing: The $3.3 million Memorandum of Understanding signed last Friday allows the construction of 8 schools for the Eastern Province, as well as facilitates development of future assistance projects.
