As things stand in the race for the presidential nominee of the Republican Party, Donald J Trump, as Mr Trump wants himself to be known, seems to be enjoying an unassailable lead over his rivals. His closest rival, meanwhile, the heavily-animated, Canadian-born Ted Cruz seems to be struggling to keep pace with the former, despite the impressive oratory at his disposal – after running short of new ideas.
