Peshawar: Blast in Bus near Sunehri Mosque

Terrorists blasted bus carrying employees of KPK secretariat early in the morning. According to the news three government officials killed and many injured. The exact nature of attack has not yet been ascertained. At least three persons are feared dead and over 10 injured. The bus was carrying over 40 government officials from Mardan.

Serial Debates - Tolerance, Sedition, Nationalism

Producers of our soap serials on television that never seem to end must be a worried lot these days. Their monopoly on prime time viewing is under threat from ‘talk shows’ that serially air ‘serious debates’ during news time on topics of great importance. To begin with it was about ‘Intolerance vs. Tolerance’, but even before the serial had ended, two parallel serials cropped up almost simultaneously—on sedition and nationalism.
