Rs 525 Mn revives Lanka’s former chemical pioneer

A now defunct Lankan chemical pioneer is to be revived and construction work shall start before the end of this year to revive the historic manufacturing giant.

Rehabilitated former LTTE member ‘Ram’ arrested by Terrorist Investigation Division

Rehabilitated former LTTE member known ‘Ram’ was arrested by the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) yesterday, Police said. Ram’s wife had complained to the Thirukkovil Police on Sunday stating that her husband was abducted by a group of unknown individuals.
