Indian-Americans' role worthy of emulation

The role of Indian-American community in fostering excellent ties between the two nations and their stellar role in enhancing the image of India in their adopted land is worthy of emulation, said Dr A Surya Prakash, Chairman of Prasar Bharathi, India’s public broadcasting service here on Saturday.

Asian Development Bank supported Fisheries Development Project in the Northern Province

On the request of Government of Sri Lanka, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has provided a project preparatory technical assistance to formulate a project to revive the fisheries sector in the four conflict affected districts namely Jaffna, Mannar, Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi under the Northern Province sustainable fisheries development project.
