I have recently noticed that most, if not all, of my friends have covered the built-in webcams of their laptops with a translucent tape, in the wake of growing menace of web cam hacking, the method in which hackers tend to use this particular accessary for malicious purposes with the aid of pieces of software installed in the computer systems of unsuspecting victims or remote administration tools (RAT), while gaining access to them remotely.
