U.S. Embassy Empowers Youth to Improve Local Communities

The Embassy of the United States of America is awarding approximately LKR 9,000,000 (over $60,000) to eight civil society organizations as part of the Embassy’s annual Youth Empowerment Grants program. " class="caption" align="right" />

Ranasinghe succeeded Maj. Gen. Jagath Alwis. The change took place in the wake of Army headquarters replacing Brigadier Suresh Salley, head of the Directorate of Military Intelligence.
