‘Bullets’ For Train Passengers

Just a few days after Narendra Modi had a ride in a bullet train in Japan nearly 150 passengers died following the derailment of the Patna-Indore express train near Kanpur on November 20. For the deceased it was worse than dying from a bullet shot which often comes with a warning. Train accidents, of course, come without waning like all accidents. But what makes train accidents in India more tragic is that nothing much has really been done, except talks, to reduce the train fatalities.

At least 119 people were killed and more than 150 injured when an Indian express train derailed in northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
