With 235-Crore Satellite, PM Narendra Modi Extends 'Sab Ka Saath' Idea To SAARC

On May 5, the skies above the island of Sriharikota on the coast of the Bay of Bengal will light up with the launch of India's giant Geo-synchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) rocket on its 11th mission as it lifts off with what is being billed as "a message of peace like never before".

Navy arrests five Indian fishermen on 1st May for poaching in Sri Lankan waters

Sri Lanka Navy in a news item states that the Naval personnel arrested 5 Indian poachers engaged in illegal fishing activities in Sri Lankan waters, north of Mannar on 1st May. But Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in a letter to Indian Prime Minister has brought to his notice that “on April 30,” Sri Lanka Navy has arrested five fishermen, hailing from Thangachimadam in Rameswaram.
