Namal Rajapaksa & 4 others arrested, remanded till 16th October

Hambantota Electoral District Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and four others were informed to appear before Hambantota Police yesterday (10 October) to record a statement and were arrested, produced before the Hambantota Magistrate’s Court and were ordered to be remanded till October 16.

The Argentine federal judge investigating the allegation that ex-President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner’s administration conspired with Iran to hide Tehran’s culpability for the deadly 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish center in Buenos Aires announced on Monday that Kirchner has been subpoenaed to appear before him on October 26.
