[b]Army Commander felicitated at his old school[/b]

[b]Colombo, 27 January, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] Lieutenant General Fonseka in his address, assured that he would do everything possible to achieve peace with dignity. The Sri Lanka’s Army Commander declared this when he visited his old school, Ananda College in Colombo to participate in a ceremony in his honor.

Lieutenant General Fonseka after he assumed the office of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army went to his old school yesterday morning to participate in a ceremony.

During a special felicitation ceremony, organized by the Old Boys Association of Ananda College, the Commander Lieutenant General Sarath Fonseka was accorded a salute and hailed for the services he has so far rendered to the country at large.

Lieutenant General Fonseka joined Ananda College to proceed with his higher studies (1966-1969) after his primary education at Ambalangoda Dharmashoka College over in 1965.
