[b]London, 10 January, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] United Kingdom in its latest travel advisory has warned traveling to the North of East of Sri Lanka, as there is an ongoing political violence and civil unrest in that region.

The travel advisory issued by United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office has warned its nationals to be aware of their surroundings whilst in Sri Lanka and also cautioned to avoid political gatherings or demonstrations.

The latest travel advisory reveals that the last advice has been reviewed and reissued with amendments to the Summary, Terrorism, and Political Situation, Local Laws and Customs and Natural Disasters sections. It adds that the overall level of the advice has not changed.

Travel Advisory warns the British nationals regarding the travel to Sri Lanka to exercise maximum caution while in Sri Lanka.
