[b]Oslo, 12 January, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] Kjell Magne Bondevik former Norway Prime Minister builds his own peace project. According to Aftenposten, the veteran politician has won support for his own peace project based in Oslo.

Aftenposten reports, Norway's recently defeated prime minister has been keen to build a new career within the areas of international peace efforts and helping the world's poor. Now veteran politician Kjell Magne Bondevik has won support for his own peace project based in Oslo.

Bondevik's list of sponsors includes some of the biggest names in Norwegian business: Industrialist Kjell Inge Røkke, Statoil chief executive Helge Lund, retailing magnate Stein Erik "Rimi" Hagen and Norsk Hydro boss Eivind Reiten.

The reports reveals that they've agreed to help fund Bondevik's "Oslo Center for peace and human rights," which aims to contribute to international peace negotiations with an emphasis on an "inter-religious dialogue."
