Alex, you should not give up.
The real problem is there is no other proper group for tamils as an alternative.
Currently, there three categories of anti-ltte groups:
1) this category is not really anti-ltte but they are in favor of liberation of tamils and democratic rights of tamil people. Therefore they look like anti-ltte.
2) this category people, they (or their relatives) were once affected by Ltte (financially or physically), does not care about tamils liberation, they just wanted to take revenge on Ltte.
3) these people are anti-tamil. They are against any equal rights to Tamils. They use ant-Ltte propoganda for their purpose.
With your knowledge and contacts, you'll able identify these people.
Hope we see you more.

Alex,
The above catogaries are correct but incomplete;
There is a 4th catogary
4) these are the people anti-terrorist, like to see all the SriLankans as citizens of SriLanka. They do not believe tamils have any more rights than any other ethnic group in SL. These are the people looking for a peaceful solution.

As my comments deleted in the forum by the “Moderator” without any explanation, I feel very inconvenient to post comments here.
I thought it’s an open forum to express our opinions, if I comment any thing bad the MODERATOR can delete it with explanation, then I’ll know my mistake and I can correct in the future.
IF THERE IS NO DEMOCRACY IN A FORUM, THEN HOW CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE “LTTE”, “EPDP” or the “GOSL”???
Dear Mr. Alex,
Kindly stop using the words “Ellam Summa.” This amounts to humiliating the academic approaches of other members. Kindly take this as the final say on this matter.

Q5: If an individual provides money to a front organization which is believed to be associated with the LTTE will that individual be charged under the Criminal Code?
A5:No, only donations to the LTTE are effected by this listing.
I wonder when this support to them will stop! It looks RIGHT NOW!
HRW/DBS etc says there are a lot of LTTE front organizations. But the canadian Gov. seems not bothered about them or they think they are not fronts of LTTE.

Canadian Tamils For Democracy urges the Canadian government, police, and others involved in law enforcement, to heed the recommendations of HRW, so that Canadian Tamils may live without fear.
So you suspect (expect) the 'Canadian government , polie' in particular and 'others' related to gov. in general NOT to head the recomendations?
When action is taken against the LTTE and their frontal organizations,
here is a part of an FAQ regaled to the banning, published on a website belongs to DBSJeyaraj who was one of the witnesses quoted by HRW to justify their report....
however, we ask that great care to be taken by relevant authorities, so that the rights and freedoms of the ordinary Tamil citizen are not infrin upon.
What a concern for the ordinary Tamil citizens!!!
These guys are so into democracy, they are even asking the Canadian authorities not to infringing upon! Why? because they know when the canadian authorities harress the Tamils in the name of banned organizations (like they are doing to the middle eastern people)all the Tamils are going to blame these 'Democratic' guys.
This is what happened to the famous 'demoratic' leaders who make 'telegrams' and later 'faxes' to the SL Gov. asking them not to infring the 'ordinary citizens' upon!
