[b]Over 4 crore Tamils to decide future of Jayalalithaa, Karunanidhi[/b]
[b]New Delhi, 08 May (Asiantribune.com):[/b] An estimated 4.63 crore Tamilians will decide the 'fortunes' of two arch rivals - Jayalalithaa Jayaram and Muthavel Karunanidhi, in the balloting for the Tamil Nadu assembly today. All pre-poll surveys have predicted a close finish while some said it is advantage Jaya. Her rival camp has however stepped up its campaign in the past two-three days to neutralize if not establish a slender lead.
Both camps appear, nevertheless, prepared to usher in a coalition era in Tamil Nadu politics if they fail to give either of a clear majority. This willingness for coalition is more pronounced with Karunanidhi and his DMK, who have entered the fray with a clear signal.
