[b]Colombo, 07 January, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] The fate of the 13 sailors belonged to the ill fated Sri Lanka Navy vessel is still not known. Reports points to the Sea Tiger, the naval wing of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) for the attack on the naval vessel early this morning.

It is strongly believed that two sailors survived the attack, while the balance 13 sailors on board the vessel perished and the naval craft, an Israel built Dvora - Fast Attack Craft too completely destroyed, while the country fast slipping towards civil unrest and chaos in the very near future.

The Sea Tigers of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam allegedly have rammed their boats laden with explosives early this morning, blowing up a Sri Lanka Naval vessel Fast Attack Craft, said to be with 15 sailors on board.

According to a report posted in the Sri Lanka Army website, the incident took place in the sea off Foul Point, Trincomalee around 1.00 am.
