[b] New Delhi, 14 November, (Asiantribune.com): [/b]Claiming a significant breakthrough in the Delhi blast investigations, Indian police have arrested an associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba and are zeroing in on the others suspected of their involvement in Oct 29 blasts that claimed about 70 lives and left about 200 injured in three crowded market places of the capital.

Minutes before the Delhi police chief K.K.Paul made the announcement today evening; there was a bomb scare at the very police headquarters where his press conference was scheduled. An anonymous caller gave the threat and the entire multi-storied building was combed minutely for about three-four hours.

Paul stated that Tariq Ahmed Dar, an executive in a multi-national was arrested in Kashmir on Saturday and has since been brought to Delhi. He said, Dar was acting as a fund raiser for the militants.

Abu Alqama, LeT chief in Srinagar and Abu Hafiza the Pak based militant groups' Jammu chief are the two main brains behind the serial blasts. "Joint teams of Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir police are now raiding various places along with intelligence agencies to nab them, Police chief stated.
