Iranian charity sends expired tinned-food for Pak quake victims

By Iqbal Hussain Khan Yousafzai - Reporting from Islamabad

Islamabad, 19 January, (Asiantribune.com): An Iranian charity has distributed expired tinned-food among the earthquake survivors in the Pakistan quake hit areas.

The use of the expired food, by the Iranian Red Crescent, has caused skin allergies and stomach murmurs among the innocent folks.

The tins, containing tuna fish and baked beans, were produced in the year 1983 and were to be used within two years of the production, i.e. 1985. The manufacturing date on top and bottoms of the tins clearly states their date of manufacture and expiry.
