New Delhi, 29 March ( Reflecting a sense of confidence, Jayalalithaa Jayaram's All India Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has come up with a cliché ridden manifesto. It spewed venom more on the Congress and less on the local rival, DMK and that may be due to Sonia Congress bumping into the centre stage of Indian politics with the 'second' sacrifice by Sonia Gandhi.

As if by coincidence, Sonia Gandhi was in her home constituency Rae Barellie in Uttar Pradesh. She was at her combative best prompting a political analyst to remark if elections are held right away, the Congress is bound to walk away with top honours at the ballot box.

So Jayalalthaa's manifesto for Tamil Nadu polls spitting fire and brimstone against Congress is understandable though Congress is a marginal player in local politics.
