[b]Killing spree continues in the country[/b]

[b]Colombo, 28 April, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] In three separate attacks on Thursday, 5 Sri Lankan Armed forces personnel were killed, two sailors and three soldiers, reported to be by the suspected Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. In another incident two more soldiers were injured in the north of the country. Furthermore, five headless male corpses were found in Avissawella, in two separate spots about 35 kilometers East of Colombo.

Yesterday morning, in a claymore mine attack by the LTTE was reported at about 10.00 a.m. in Kayts, close to the Holy Cross junction, where two sailors of the Sri Lanka Navy were killed while moving on a motorbike.

Again in the evening of Thursday, three more soldiers were killed at Naravilakulam in Mannar. The incident took place about 4.30 p.m. while a group of soldiers were bathing in the lake, when LTTE rebel cadres detonated the claymore mine.
