[b]LTTE collects ransom of SL Rs. 32.5 million, without releasing kidnapped Dudley Ariyadasa [/b]

[b]Colombo, 19 January (Asiantribune.com):[/b] Even after receiving a ransom of Sri Lankan Rupees 3 crore and 25 lakhs (32.5 million), Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) has not released Dudley Ariyadasa of Akkarapattu, in the Amparai district.

According to an information, Dudley - 28 years, father 3 children is the son of Ariyadasa, a leading liquor agent and a hotelier in Akkaraipattu.

Dudley was kidnap by the intelligent group of Vanni Tigers (LTTE) on 21 October 2005, at Akkaraipattu on the orders of the Keerthi, head of the intelligent group for Batticalao – Ampatai Division.

Initially Keethi, demanded Sri Lanka Rupees 10 crore (100 million) and also severely warned the family not to seek the assistance of either the Sri Lankan police or Army and not to inform about the kidnapping to the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission.
